Since 2000 there have been 115 major bridge collapses worldwide, and more than 22 of them occurred in the past 2 years. The Morandi Bridge in Genoa in 2018 was one of them. In this article we explain what the causes of its collapse were and how this tragedy could have been prevented using our methodology.
